Division 2 Players Reporting an error that disables skills

Players from Division 2 use their skills only to deactivate almost immediately and switch to a 15-second cooldown.

Redditor u / TheBalance1016 raised this issue (but it is by no means the only player) claiming that it makes some skills useless.

Skills in Division 2 are powerful abilities related to cooldown. The error seems to cause incorrect activation of the skill.

"I activate my drone or shield (I have not tested others, it happens in all variants) and within two seconds the skill disappears and I have a 15-second renewal time," wrote u / TheBalance1016.

"This does not stop the skill of dismantling and triggering shorter cooldown times. It is – always – a 15-second cooldown and makes most of the skills (of any duration in the world) useless, "they added, pointing out that" it definitely was not before this patch ".

A large number of people replied to the thread saying they had the same problem. It is not clear whether this affects all types of skills, but reports have appeared that this applies to Shields, Drones, Towers and Hives.

Some have experienced a problem with aligned characters, while others discover the problem as soon as they start the game for the first time, suggesting that this is a global problem and not caused by specific actions in the game.

At the time of writing, Ubisoft Massive did not comment on this issue either in Reddit threads, on the website or in the Twitter channel, which means it is not clear what is causing the problem or when it will be repaired.

Players from Division 2 on IGN did not encounter this problem during the review period, but a new fix has recently been removed, which means it may be associated with changes to this update. We have contacted Ubisoft in order to obtain a comment. Division 2 started today on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

If you want to know what we think about the game, we have a review in progress that you can watch.
