Liverpool take a serious injury ahead of clash as Nuno disagrees with Jurgen Klopp

Two of Jurgen Klopp’s players returned to training ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Wolves.

The Reds have had problems with injuries in recent weeks. Alisson, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Thiago and James Milner expected to miss the game at Anfield.

However, Klopp could welcome two other players back to fold when they want to climb back to the top of the table.

Both Naby Keita and Trent Alexander-Arnold are back in training and may be included in the squad versus Wolves.

Coady issues the verdict of Jota

Wolf Captain Conor Coady was impressed with how ex-Wolves man Diogo Jota settled down at Anfield.

The striker swapped Wolves for Liverpool this summer and hit the ground in a red jersey, scoring five Premier League goals so far this season.

He will be hoping to add to that score against his former club today.

“He was fantastic,” Coady told the club’s official website. “I think every player in our dressing room knew what a player he was, we know his character and we know he would go there with the right mentality.”

Nuno does not agree with Klopp

Nuno Espirito Santo disagreed with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on whether the number of reserve players in the Premier League would increase from three to five.

Klopp was a high-profile advocate, citing the number of injuries accumulated by his team to justify an increase from the standard three.

But Nuno took the case against his counterpart.

“I’ve never changed my mind,” said Nuno ahead of Sunday’s trip to Anfield.

“I still believe that there is insufficient evidence that about three or five substitutions are the solution.
