Agent Mohamed Salah poured cold water into the rumor that the attacker had asked to leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Just a few hours before the second quarter-final of the Liverpool Champions League with the Spanish outlet of Porto AS he stated that Salah made the decision after a heated discussion with Jurgen Klopp.

The report suggests that Salah, the last season of the PFA Player of the Year, even threatened to transfer a request for transfer under the alleged interest of Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane wants to change the composition of Madrid in the summer, and Salah, like Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, has been named the potential "Galactico" who signed a contract with the giants of La Liga.

It seems, however, that Madrid will have to look elsewhere for Salah's agent, who strongly suggests that the Egyptian is satisfied with life in Merseyside.

"Talking to AS again, I see", Ramy Abbas Issa wrote on Twitter in response to reports in Spain.

Salah is currently the best scorer (19) in the English league, next to the striker Manchester City Sergio Aguero.

The international representative of Egypt, who signed the new five-year contract at Anfield last July, has a chance to make history this season, helping Liverpool to win the first ever Premier League title.

Asked if City would probably fall into one of the other five games, Salah said Sky Sports: "In my opinion, yes.

"We just have to focus on our game and hope that Manchester City will lose points.

"I followed Man City to see the result, he can help us, but he can also force us to get better results.

"You have to score points, you can not lose any points, I knew the result of the Manchester City match".
