The Ministry of Public Health reports that four new deaths from COVID-19 were registered this Saturday, December 5.
The deceased were: an 86-year-old woman from Rivadavia who was hospitalized at the Santa Clara clinic; 85-year-old woman from Chimbas admitted to the Santa Clara clinic; 73-year-old man from Rivadavia, admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson; and a 44-year-old man from Rawson admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson.
The San Juan government extends its condolences to family members, friends and relatives and accompanies them in this painful moment.
It is also reported that the following official coronavirus case numbers were recorded in San Juan by 8 p.m. on that day:
- New cases: 156
- Total confirmed: 12151
- Patients with an infectious process: 3,150
- Dead people (total): 260
- Recovered: 8741
- Negative: 285

181 patients are hospitalized in COVID-19 areas (between positive and suspects) at Dr. Guillermo Rawson; Dr. Marcial Quiroga; Dr. Ventura Lloveras from Sarmiento; Dr. César Aguilar from Caucete; Dr. José Giordano from Albardón; Dr. Federico Cantoni of Pocito; CEMEC; Dr. Julieta Lanteri; Private hospital; Medical Institute; El Castaño Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; San Juan Sanatorium; Argentinian Sanatorium and CCI.
Stay interned in the critical area: 104 patients, 36 of whom benefit from mechanical ventilation.
