BAT: emergency session in terms of security
VIENNA. A security guard with neo-Nazi contact worked in the U-committee.

How and why the seemingly extreme right-wing security worker with contacts with the neo-Nazi environment was active in the BVT inquiry committee, will be discussed today at the group leaders' meeting. The chairwoman of the Doris Bures (SP) committee convened a meeting to discuss how to proceed. It is said that an employee of an external security company worked for about a month with the security committee. Responsibility for man's security control was postponed by the Ministry of the Interior and the Parliamentary Directorate for the weekend. The Chairman of the National Council, Wolfgang Sobotka (vice-chairman), announced a special presidency to discuss "how this can be prevented in the future". Today Bures wants to talk to the faction leaders and the procedural judge about the current state of information. "The BOM committee must be immediately informed when the man was in the commission with which the respondent was interviewed during those days, and whether he actually had access to the press room," Bures said. The faction leader Jan Krainer has demanded that in future no such foreign personnel be employed in "such very sensitive areas of public security". Stricter security measures required Stephanie Krisper Neos mandate, Peter Pilz (list of mushrooms) talked about the "crash of security." The leader of the PR group Hans-Jörg Jenewein is interested in a special contract with an external security company.
The next BAT inquiry committee meeting will take place on 27 November. Interior minister Herbert Kickel (FP) and general director for public security, Michaela Kardeis, were invited.
