Meghan Markle revealed in the New York Times on Wednesday that she had a miscarriage after moving to the United States. The Duchess of Sussex said she lost her second child after she felt “Sharp contraction” changing his son Archie’s diaper last July.
In a New York Times column, the Duchess of Sussex described being sick at home in Los Angeles and needing to be hospitalized with her husband Harry by her side, who was “devastated.”
In describing this particularly painful moment, she realized that it was during her second pregnancy “something was wrong”.
And declare: “After changing Archie’s diaper, I felt a strong contraction. I fell to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to soothe us both, the cheerful melody contrasting with my feeling something was wrong. I knew in hugging my firstborn that I was losing my second. “
