Joice de Souza, a social worker who attended Raíssa at the Center for the Support of the Social Integration of People with Disabilities, said that the girl is shy, but thanks to treatment she improved her behavior, she became more emotional and talkative.

The family claims that the girl did not trust adults she did not know. "She was an introvert, she couldn't communicate, but when she felt good, she spoke," says Raíssa's cousin, Alessandra Correa da Silva.

The São Paulo City Hall, which is responsible for both CEU and Anhanguera Park, said that it had taken all necessary steps and that the park guards had kept the place and launched the Metropolitan Civil Guard, which registered the incident at the police station.
