Parkasaurus is Cuter Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis

One of my favorite games is the park builder Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. It was released in 2003 Jurassic World Evolution he was a permanent successor JPOGbut Parkasarusindependent game with Early Access on Steam, in fact, reflects the atmosphere JPOG better. And it looks nicer.

Developed by Washbear Studio, Parkasarus it's a colorful and sweet look at a dinosaur-themed park builder. During Evolution and JPOG followed more realistic visualizations, Parkasaurs includes the stupid and fun nature of building a dinosaur park. From visualization to writing and from how dinosaurs are bred, everything is more cartoonish and fun.

However, do not let these visualizations distract you too much. Under the beautiful art is an intense park game that even competes Jurassic World Evolution.

Like JPOG, you build fences and add feathers, trees, water and rocks to them. But Parkasarus requires that these housings meet certain requirements. For example, the first received dino is the stegosaurus. This dinosaur must live in the biome of the rain forest, which means that you will have to add water, grass and some trees to the pen so that the animal is happy. Add too much and you can turn your pen into a desert, forest or even swamp.

Dinos in Parkasarus need more than just food, water and sleep. They will want privacy. This can be achieved with the high grass in which they hide, high walls or paths, from which guests enjoy far from the fences. They will also want the diversity of plants and rocks and they will be bored without toys and other dinosaurs. They can be a bit high.

When I first played, I did not really care about the dinosaur needs. I thought to myself that even if they got out, they would not hurt anyone in this lovely world. I was wrong. These dinosaurs, even small children, will brutally shed people around or drag them around the park. So look after them or face their anger. If they leave, you can calm them down.

Dino Attack!

As you progress through the game, you'll have to manage hiring employees, buy food for dinosaurs, and place trash bins and other useful pieces for guests. Do not manage these things, and visitors will throw you into the social media site in the game. They can also be very difficult. It's a park with dinosaurs. What more do you want?

Similar to JPOGyou will have to send excavation teams to dig fossils to create more dinosaurs. But unlike JPOG or Evolution, you have to dig fossils yourself using a mini-game. The goal is to discover valuable fossils or gems by clicking on different parts of the covered mesh that represents the site of the excavation. Hire more scientists to have more time digging and better digging tools, so you can discover more fossils faster.

Digging fossils

Strangely enough, you do not extract DNA from these fossils, and instead take them to the barn where they are magical chicken, and then put a dino egg. It's a strange world. When you have an egg, you have to let it go before people see your dino. Unlike JPOG, dinos really come out as children who will grow over time. The only better thing than sweet dino is a cute baby.

Parkasarus it contains many decorations and buildings. Using them together with several robust field tools, you can easily create a large park that looks great. Many of these decorations should first be unlocked using a powerful technological tree. Again, I did not expect this deep park management game from something that looks so damn cute. I do not think you should ever judge a book by its cover. Excuse me, Parkasarus.

The game is still at an early stage, so some features are missing. I also came across strange errors, such as notifications appearing over and over again. Apart from these minor mistakes, the game went well and played almost like a finished product.

A Cute Baby Dino

A good sign for me when playing this type of game is how much time they suck without me. I played this game for half an hour, or so I thought. I looked at the clock and noticed that I was actually playing for almost three hours. I did not care. I was too busy building a new pen for my cute little triceratops.

For some fans JPOG or Jurassic World Evolution, visualizations will be impossible to pass. Still, I hope that the people who are in this type of park games give Parkasarus attempt. It is delightful, has a lot of management options and feels like a great successor Operation Genesis.
