Pastrnak out at least two weeks for Bruins

David Pastrnak will be at the Boston Bruins after the surgery on his left thumb.

The 22-year-old was forwarded after the sponsorship dinner Sunday. Pastrnak will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Pastel Blinds on NHL Trade Deadline on Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. ET, general manager Don Sweeney said.

Pastrnak leads Boston and is tied for ninth in NHL with 66 points (31 goals, 35 assists). The No. 25 pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, he has 269 points (125 goals, 144 assists) in 310 NHL games across five seasons, all with the Bruins.

Boston (31-17-8) enters its game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday (7 pm ET; NBCSN, SNE, SNO, SNP, TVAS, NESN, NBCSCH, NHL.TV) third in the Atlantic Division, one point behind the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens.
