The Vancouver police are investigating a brutal home invasion of the West End who sent a woman to the hospital in the morning with serious injuries.

In the VPD, he says that around 6:30 on Friday, officers were called to live on Beach Avenue near Jervis Street, after a 29-year-old woman was attacked by a man who appears to have entered through the open patio door.

Law enforcement says that a woman has been seriously injured and is in hospital.

"It seems that the motive was the break and the entrance, and the researchers believe that many objects have been stolen," said VPD.

The police are looking for a white man in their thirties. He is about six feet tall and has short dark hair and facial hair. He is wearing blue jeans and a red shirt. The suspect was last seen leaving the crime scene.
