The theory that the Wuhan lab where the novel coronavirus has allegedly originated belongs to Glaxo, which would be part of a chain of links from pharmaceutical company Pfizer to investment fund manager BlackRock through Microsoft and Bill Gates. , has been shared on social networks at least 1,500 times in Spanish since November 29 last year. The said Wuhan Institute of Virology has no ties to Glaxo but is owned by the Chinese government. In addition, while Glaxo and Pfizer have formed a business alliance, they are still competitors.

“The world is a handkerchief !! The Chinese biological laboratory in Wuhan actually belongs to GLAXO, which by chance owns PFIZER, which manages the finances of BLACK ROCK, which accidentally manages the finances of the SOROS Open Company, which is accidentally responsible for the interests of the French AXA, whose German company WINTERTHUR built the Chinese laboratory by accident bought by German ALLIANZ and which coincidentally has as a large shareholder of VANGUARD, shareholder of BLACK ROCK, which controls CENTRAL BANKS and manages 1/3 of the WORLD INVESTMENT CAPITAL, which by chance is a large shareholder of MICROSOFT and GATES is a shareholder of PFIZER and now the first sponsor of WHO !!! Life events … Follow the money / Follow the money “says the text that users share on Facebook (1, 2).

The same text is also circulating Twitter and the first mention of it found is in this Facebook post in Italian on November 12, attributed to a certain “Giuseppe Renda”.

The first Google search for this name found a Pfizer employee in Italy according to their profile LinkedIn. AFP Factual has contacted Renda with no response since the publication of this article.

Wuhan Institute of Virology

Property investigation Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) found no relationship with Glaxo. According to a 2017 note from Nature magazine, the creation of the WIV P4 laboratory, at the center of controversy since the onset of the coronavirus crisis, was approved in 2003 by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS, for its acronym in English) and was built with Of the French International Center for Research in Infectology (CIRI). WIV P4 was opened in 2015.

Numerous theories claim that the virus was created in P4 WIV or that “he ran away” with. Sam Donald Trump said in April “Have evidence” that the pandemic occurred at the aforementioned Institute, but did not present them.

AFP Factual has already verified claims related to the existence of the virus made in a laboratory or manufactured with human intervention.

Both in the inaugural provisions and in The corporate information pages (1) on the WIV website do not contain any reference to the participation of any foreign company. The institute depends on CAS, which in turn depends on the Chinese government.

Search on the website The Open Society Foundations, founded by George Soros, shows that there is no mention of the French insurer AXA related to the monetary arrangements, only one in which he is mentioned as an example of lawsuits filed by companies to protect their intellectual property. Additionally, Soros’ philanthropic organization does not appear in AXA’s organization charts.

Meanwhile, the Winterthur Group was a Swiss (not German) insurer acquired by AXA in 2006. Google search is not returning results regarding the alleged construction of a laboratory in China by a non-existent company.

On the other hand, Allianz draws attention on its website that it has offices in China in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. There is no mention of Wuhan or the company’s laboratory based in that country.

On the corporate international news site Glaxo in China also makes no mention of its involvement with the WIV or any other facility in Wuhan. Glaxo has two joint ventures in the Asian country and is present in Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin.

Glaxo y Pfizer

According to CNN Money, Pfizer, is majority controlled by The Vanguard Group, which owns 7.67% of its shares. GlaxoSmithKline does not appear on Pfizer’s list of shareholders, although Capital Research & Management does. However, it barely owns 0.67% of Glaxo, with the correlation made by viral publications incorrect.

In December In 2018, the companies merged into a joint venture, creating in 2019 Gsk Consumer Healthcare with the participation of both, a specific alliance for the commercialization of pharmaceutical products such as Voltaren, Panadol and Advil. However, this was not a buying operation by one company over the other, and both are still competitors in the pharmaceutical sector.

BlackRock, Pfizer, Soros and other compounds

Black Rock is the world’s leading mutual fund manager and as such owns interests in tens of thousands of companies (including Pfizer) and has thousands of investors, including tycoon George Soros, among many of its portfolios.

Pfizer also received money from Strategic Investments Fund of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The Foundation has invested in a pharmaceutical company to extend access to Sayana, her injectable contraceptive, to developing countries. In September 2020, he also announced that he would work with several companies working on the development of a vaccine against COVID-19. However, neither the foundation nor Gates are among Pfizer’s major shareholders.

The Gates Foundation is also one of the largest donors to WHO, accounting for 11.65% of the money the agency receives. However, it is not “Main sponsor”because money contributed by the German government accounts for 12.18% of the income.

In conclusion, there is no evidence that Wuhan WIV is owned by Glaxo, nor is it true that it owns Pfizer. Likewise, there are no records of the relationship between Winterthur and Axa insurance companies and the WIV. On the other hand, fund manager BlackRock, which owns a portion of Pfizer’s shares, has an investor stake in George Soros, as well as many other fortunes in the world. In addition, Bill and Melinda Gates have invested in Pfizer to develop specific projects, but are not major shareholders. Finally, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is funding the WHO but not the main sponsor.
