Some people believe that adhering to systems and methods that contribute to rapid weight loss is a good thing, and many overlook that it comes with many of the health risks that fitness and nutrition expert Sada Al-Balad said sports, Moataz Al-Qabai.
The doctor explained that many girls and young men are cheated by following diets that count pounds over a certain period of time and commercial advertisements that promise them to lose weight in a short time.
When it comes to fast weight loss methods, many people make unhealthy choices and follow unfavorable diets, including:
1- Surgical operations including conversion, sleeve surgery and liposuction.
2- Diet drugs and fat burners.
3- strict eating regimens such as chemical regimens, keto, and the water diet.
The doctor emphasized that although all the above-mentioned systems effectively affect effective weight loss, they all leave the body with large losses and cause serious health risks that are difficult to solve later.
1- Sagging skin.
2- Rapid shedding of visceral fat can lead to serious health problems such as kidney failure.
3- Anemia caused by lack of important nutrients in strict dietary regimes.
4- Health problems resulting from the use of fat burners, especially those that contain a high percentage of caffeine, such as heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
5- Infection with psychological and neurological diseases such as depression as a result of the use of fat burners, which affect the satiety centers in the brain and suppress the appetite.
6- Infection caused by the use of hormones for weight loss.
7 – Infection with colorectal cancer and stomach cancer from weight loss tea, which works against injuries and chronic diarrhea as well as loss of important vitamins and nutrients.
8- Infection with a deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K due to the use of fat burners, which work to reduce the amount of fat consumed in the meal.
9- Prevalence of osteoporosis and premature aging due to weight loss surgery.
