The result, which was followed by 2,000 returning supporters in West London, meant the Blues were one point ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham, who are returning to the game on Sunday.
Klopp said: “If I watch games I can see that Tottenham is clearly doing quite well and Chelsea look like a favorite to me right now.
“They have a bigger squad, great players, they play well. Now they are busy and have incredible opportunities to change [the team] between games and between games. That’s it.

“There is pressure, but it’s about you. There is pressure to win the game and we want to win the Wolves [on Sunday]. We only play Wolves this weekend and no one else, so everyone else can play against each other or not and then they will be collecting points.
“It is always like that. It’s too early to think about who is ahead of who or anything. This is just the situation.
“I said it before, this season is not about setting a goal and going for it, but about getting the best football possible that you can play – and that’s what we’re trying to do.
Klopp insists that Liverpool, the reigning champion, focus on consistent performance
“Sometimes it varies from weekend to midweek due to some circumstances, but it’s still a goal for us all the time. Focus fully on next game, next opponent, especially not so early on other outcomes. “
Liverpool have raced to their top spot in three decades, taking a memorable triumph last season.
In this year’s campaign, the title defense was disrupted by a series of key injuries. Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold were among the missing.
Anfield injury crisis made Klopp furious over failure to reintroduce five substitutes
The Anfield giants will still be able to reclaim first place after their win over Wolves, although Klopp has recently redoubled his criticism of a tight schedule in the face of his exhausted team.
After a loud call to reinstate the five-innings rule, the Reds coach said: “It’s not about Liverpool, I don’t really have five players to bring back.”
“I can bring the kids and things like that and that’s all right and that’s our problem. This has nothing to do with the general problem. But it’s about all the players, load management and nothing else.
