Abrham Mebratu, the Ethiopian national football team leader, has appointed a 23-man team to qualify for the upcoming African Nations Cup (AFCON) against Ghana, which will be held in Addis Ababa on 18 November.

Mebratu named roughly the same team that fought twice against Kenya last month with the aim of playing Daniel Demisse on the Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) side of Coffee Coffee.

Demisse was named the Addis Abeba city cup competitor this year.

Ethiopia, which is currently at the bottom of the "F" group in the qualifiers, needs a single point to win the Ghana Championships if they are hoping for a continental tour hosted in 2019 in Cameroon.

5-0 win

Ghana, sitting after the suspension of Sierra Leone after the last two games, is second with three points, four behind the leaders of Kenya, who scored seven points in four rounds.

In the first match against the two teams, Ghana scored 5-1 in Kumasi.

The team below;

Goalkeepers: Abel Mamo, Samson Assefa
