Sky Q now offers access to two streaming services: Sports fans can now watch DAZN through the pay-TV platform. In addition, the platform now also supports Spotify.
Both users of the free version of Spotify and premium subscribers can now use the music streaming service via their Sky-Q receiver: Now you should find the Spotify app for Sky Q, which you can use with an existing Log in to your account. In addition, the Sky Q receiver now supports Spotify Connect. This allows you to control the Spotify application on the receiver using a smartphone or tablet. To ensure the best sound quality, the pay-TV sender recommends Sky Soundbox. Of course, if available, you can also listen to music through floor Hi-Fi speakers or other speakers.
Sky Q also provides access to Netflix
The DAZN sport streaming service has also received its own app for Sky Q. It seems that the usage works similar to the Spotify application: you log in using an existing account in the application, and then you can watch DAZN directly using Sky Q. DAZN annually transmits over 8,000 sporting events.
In addition, the Netflix service has recently become available through Sky Q. While the integration of Spotify is not surprising, cooperation with Netflix and DAZN has surprised at least: Both streaming services are actually competing directly with Sky's programming offers.
For example, DAZN is currently broadcasting UEFA Champions League matches in which Sky had rights last season. In turn, Netflix competes in particular with Sky television. For example, new episodes of the "House of Cards" produced by Netflix always operate exclusively on Sky in Germany.
