Huawei Mate X arrives in October!
Huawei CEO Richard Yu told IFA that his next flagship, Huawei Mate X, will be available by late October or early November at the latest. Since then, this release date has been reduced to October, at least for China. Huawei employees have leaked this date, so it's likely to be reliable. World premiere is expected in November, although mass production of the phone has accelerated.
Mate X was originally configured with the Kirin 980 chipset and a 5G modem. There is speculation that Huawei may upgrade its chipset to the Kirin 990. It is unclear whether this will completely replace the "old" model or whether Huawei will launch both versions.
