Red Dead Online on PS4 and Xbox One is slowly but surely improving since its release last year. And it is obvious that Rockstar Games is in it in the long run. He recently abandoned his big news Chasing abroad update that introduced a lot of improvements and content for the game. That said, Rockstar Games is already looking ahead and has recently teased the content that will appear in the game in this future. According to the developers of the game Rockstar is slower GTA Online, not just so that players are not overwhelmed, but because it fits well with the game's themes. That said, one thing he has an eye on is the opportunity to buy real estate. At the same time, however, he is in no hurry to add this function.
"We want to introduce real estate at some point in the future," said Open World Chief Designer Scott Butchard, talking to VG 24/7. "Again, partly because we don't want to jump to the shark too quickly. We want players to live like outlaws, live in the Wild West. We don't want to leave the camp. We want the camp to be something you care about, and we want the extensions to update it, and you have your own distinct climate. It's your own camp, it's my camp, it's their camp. We don't want to leave it too soon. "
Elsewhere in the interview, another game developer notices that after adding this feature, he will likely open up more business opportunities for players. That said, for now Rockstar does not have ETA for this feature, so it may take some time before it is implemented.
Rockstar Games also notes that it wants to add photography as part of an online game, probably in line with other transactions offered. At the moment, players have a pocket camera found in single player mode, but that's about it.
"Photographing and allowing players to capture their adventures and moments is very important to us … we want to continue to rely on it and ensure that players continue to chronicle their experiences as the network grows," said Butchard.
In the meantime, if there is something that many players want, robberies, but unfortunately, although it sounds like Rockstar Games will add this feature in the future, they are not in a hurry.
"This is another topic we have definitely talked about and wondered how this could work," Butchard said about the seizures. "It's also an exciting prospect. I think we need to take a look at this when we pass this initial stage of these roles, and how we intend to develop them now, and see where we can use the seizures in the future. We don't want to jump too far, too soon. We want everyone to experience the same journey, not too fast. We don't want them too quickly at the finish because we want the next thing. "
Interestingly, Butchard notes that at the moment there are no plans to extend the map that many fans have asked for, but he notes that, like many things, he is on the table.
