Friday December 4 Tallink Group, which is Burger King franchise owner in the Baltics, shopping and entertainment center Acropolis, Riga opens first Burger King restaurant outside Estonia, BNN learned from the owners of the company Tallink Group.
The 310 square meter restaurant with 112 seats is located on the second floor of a popular shopping center overlooking ul Acropolis rink.
While the restaurant will officially start offering its famous – open-fire – burgers and other popular dishes from the moment it opens, due to pandemic restrictions, these dishes will initially only be available to take away or take home.
The Burger King restaurant, which opens in the Akropole shopping and entertainment center in Riga, is the first international brand restaurant to open outside Estonia and the sixth restaurant in the Baltic States to open this year. The new restaurant in Riga will employ around 30 people. By the end of 2020, the company plans to open two more restaurants in the Baltic States: one in Vilnius, Lithuania, and the other in Tallinn, Estonia.
