Defender of “Liepāja” Dāvis Geks was named in November as the best player of the Latvian-Estonian basketball league “Pafbet” among Latvian teams.
Geks helped Liepaja win two of three matches in November. In those three matches he averaged 18.3 points, scored 2.3 times, intercepted 1.3 balls and scored 20.7 points for efficiency.
Ventspils’ Kemerons Randls also competed for the best player of the month award, winning two out of three matches with the Kurzeme residents. He averaged 20.7 points per game, scored 3.7 times, intercepted 2.3 points and achieved an efficiency score of 21.3.
Ogre’s Andre Volker also entered the top three in November, helping the team win one of two matches. The American scored an average of 20.0 points in these duels, won 4.0 balls under the baskets, intercepted 4.0 balls and scored 35.5 points of effectiveness.
In October, “Ventspils” forward Maris Gulbis was recognized as the best.
The teams will not play any cross-border matches this season in the main Latvian-Estonian league tournament.
