The Central Agency for Social Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced that fruit prices dropped by 8.0% in October 2018. As compared to September, due to the decline in banana prices by 10.3%, guavas by 37, 6% and grapes by 2.6%.
Prices of fish and seafood dropped by 0.7% on average Change Monthly decline due to lower prices of fresh and frozen fish by 0.8%.
Alcohol, smoke and air conditioners increased by 0.9% due to the increase in cigarette prices by 0.9%.
Clothing and footwear increased by 0.9%, due to the price of the footwear group by 0.3%, from the second group of clothing and accessories by 1.3% and the clothing group by 1.1%.
