Football: Man City De Bruyne looks like a knee

(Reuters) – Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will leave Fulham for more than a month after knee ligaments, and his club said on Friday.

The Belgian playmaker was replaced in the 85th minute by City's 2-0 victory at Fulham at Etihad Stadium on Thursday after defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah resisted on his left knee.

"De Bruyne said on Friday," said City on the club's website at https://www.mancity.com.

"There is no need for surgery, but it is expected to take 5-6 weeks."

De Bruyne, who played a key role in defeating the city's oldest championship title, has been spending six weeks in this season.

The 27-year-old Manchester City will miss the match against Manchester United in the rest of the team on local rivals and the Champions League team.
