- Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to have snubbed Princess Beatrice's engagement on social media.
- Everyone else in the royal family posted her engagement photos to Instagram, but the Sussexes and Cambridges opted out.
Yesterday, news broke that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter Princess Beatrice is engaged to her property tycoon boyfriend (what, you don't have one?) Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. And everyone is extremely excited! Er, almost everyone.
The Express points out that Beatrice's engagement seems to have been celebrated by everyone in the royal family except for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton. In other words, most of the fam except the ~ fab four ~.
Let's see, the main royal family account shared this:
Princess Eugenie shared this, saying "It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be:"
The Duke and Duchess of York shared this:
And Clarence House (aka Prince Charles and Camilla) did their part and shared the engagement photo as well:
But if you check out Harry, Meghan, William, and Kate's Instagram accounts there's no mention of Beatrice's engagement — at least not yet. To be fair, Meghan and Harry are in the middle of a royal tour of South Africa, while William and Kate were busy with a royal engagement when Beatrice's new broke yesterday. But maybe they'll post something today?
Either way, Princess Beatrice seems thrilled about her big news, saying in a statement "We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness. "
