Former WAG cricket driver Kyly Clarke and James Courtney, V8 supercar driver, reportedly split up

Kyly Clarke and James Courtney reportedly called in time for their romance just weeks after coming out.

The pair only confirmed their relationship six weeks ago, but the flame between the V8 supercar driver and the former WAG seems to have been extinguished.

A close friend of the couple confirmed the split for The Sunday Telegraph, saying their love cannot survive the distance.

Clarke is based in Sydney while Courtney is based in Queensland, and COVID-19 travel restrictions make it even more difficult for a few to see each other.

The couple were first spotted together on Bathurst 1000.

Clarke fueled the rumors when she posted a video track to her story on Instagram.

“And that’s where the weekend starts,” she said, referring to the Bathurst 1000, where Courtney raced as part of the Tickford Boost Mobile team.

The professional driver split up from his wife Carys three years ago. They share two children.

Clarke, 39, broke away from Australian cricket legend Michael Clarke last year, and the couple are still seeing each other through their young daughter.

This is not the first time Courtney and Clarke have said goodbye to a couple who first met 20 years ago.

Friends close to their childhood sweethearts said they came full circle after reconnecting on social media a few months ago.

But fans saw no split after Clarke hit her Instagram just three weeks ago to share a happy take with her new man, writing “so many reasons to smile” and even giving followers a couple of names to post – “Jaly” .

Clarke first made Instagram official stuff after sharing her favorite selfies in her stories with 70,000 followers.

Clarke and Courtney shared the photo but went a step further confirming it was an item.

“Quarantine wasn’t that bad,” he wrote next to the blinking emoticon, designating his new partner.
