Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembélé will probably leave the football field during the year as a result of the ankle injury. The club informed on Thursday.
"Unfortunately, the research conducted by Mousa Dembélé confirms that the ligaments in the right ankle are injured and it is unlikely that he could play again before the new year, he informed the club.
The 31-year-old also loses Belgium's league matches against Iceland and Switzerland.
The London club suffered a lot of damage this fall. Parts of Alli, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier all had injuries, and Rose and Vertonghen still do not play.
"We hope it will be available from the beginning of January," says Mauricio Pochettino, Dembélé company manager.
