Sao Paulo – For some time now the hot speculation that the Toyota Motorsport GR division will introduce the Raptor Ranger competing with Hilux.
Well, GR just released the Hilux version at the Sao Paulo Motor Show, and even looks like something that could take Raptor, but it's not technically.
Toyota Hilux GR Sport gains a strong body kit and stiffer suspension, as well as improved steering, but under the hood is known 2.8-liter D-4D turbodiesel with 130 kW and 450 Nm, combined with the proven Toyota four-wheel drive system .
Distinctive styling features include a grille with an inscription on Toyota blocks, a red bumper decoration, a wheel-shaped cladding, custom-made black alloys and a sports belt and colorful car body graphics in combination with the Gazoo Racing logo.
Inside, he gets black finishes and a GR badge and embroidery.
GR Sport will be offered as a limited edition in Brazil, and currently there is no word about whether something similar will be offered on other markets.
