Mourinho complains about the meeting schedule
Jose Mourinho complained that Manchester City had "easier" preparation for derby Manchester than United due to the fixture schedule.
City beat Southampton 6-1 a week ahead of the derby and hosted Shakhtar Donetsk in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League on Wednesday night. The second United league match was held in Bournemouth last Saturday, which was preceded by their European Juventus win on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, Mourinho lamented that United's trips to Juve and Valencia were scheduled for weekend matches in City and Liverpool, where United sets off next month. After United lost a 3-1 derby on Sunday, Mourinho said City has a psychological and physical advantage.
"One of the things is winning the championship" Mourinho said. "The first match of the season and analyze from the first match of the season, points, show that one team starts to be strong and there is still another team that has not started well and is improving.
"If you're focused on the game, it's been open for 80 minutes, I do not think anyone will leave the stadium." In the week in which Manchester City played three games in the home, we play three matches, a week in which they enjoy 6-0 , 6-1 wins. Relaxed, no pressure, no mental effort, everything is nice and easy. "
