A camera installed in the Brasov Forests filmed a large group of patrolling wolves. According to Mediafax, the group of eight animals is led by a female who opens the way for other wolves.
Photos of patrolling wolves were captured at night by a camera installed in the Brasov Forests. Several wolves led by a female appear in the video. He leads the pack and paves the way for the wolves.
“Every time we analyze the images captured by the surveillance cameras, we have a nice surprise. It happened now. I discovered spectacular images of a pack of wolves caught while “patrolling” the Brasov forests. The first one passed the dominant female who “felt” the ground. After a while, other wolves in the pack appeared, because these animals are shy, careful. The package we have immortalized is already quite large, consisting of 8 specimens, ”the representatives of the Kronstadt Forest District informed on Facebook.
According to specialists, there are at least four packs of wolves in the Brasov Forest. About 22 wolves have been identified in a hunting fund managed by the local Kronstadt public forest management, including some solitary that are not part of the herd. However, accurately determining the wolf population is almost impossible given that wolves travel very long distances and do not respect human boundaries, experts say.
