According to a survey in the US, MCU films are among the most popular franchises.
When we talk about franchises or Superhero movies, hard to see, not to mention Marvel Studios. For many it is MCU serves as an example, a magical recipe for the best possible expansion of a cinematographic universe. It is clear that the method has worked since then Avengers Endgame, one of the newest blockbusters to date, rose to number one in the world’s most successful films at the box office. Is the MCU Really the Most Popular Mainstream Franchise? That would be the case at least in the United States, the birthplace of most of the heroes of comics adapted for the big screen.
Indeed, the National Research Group, a technology and entertainment consulting firm, conducted a survey that polled more than 350,000 people in the United States, about 700 different franchises. So they asked the participants what the deductible was for them “the most daring, inspiring and thought provoking”. The top 20 you can see above have no less than 8 MCU movies with them avenger, Black Panther and Guardian of the Galaxy. It remains to be seen whether these US results could apply to the rest of the world. Nothing is certain, but given the worldwide and unprecedented success of Marvel Studios films, we envision that at least one MCU film could land in the top 5. Another franchise has Disney stamped and is in the top spot of the ranking, series The Mandalorian, whose Season 2 is currently airing on Disney +.
