The Gabon Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS) and the Eranove Group in Libreville last Wednesday initialed three contracts with the Republic of Gabon in hydraulic and energy fields. This is a concession agreement for the drinking water production of the Orelo water treatment and supply plant, the Komo-Kango department of the Estuary region and two electricity purchase contracts.

Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Gabonese Republic, FGIS and Eranove Group in March 2017 concerning the concession contract for Orélo drinking water treatment and supply. The contract covers the financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of a new drinking water production unit with production capacity of 140 000 m3 / day. The Orélo project aims to improve drinking water supply to Libreville and its surrounding areas by increasing the production capacity of more than 600,000 people in order to meet the growing demands of the population.

By signing Asokh Energie and Louetsi Hydro Ngoulmendjim (73 MW) and Dibwangui (15 MW) electricity contracts, they confirm the exclusive right of these companies to design, finance, construct, operate, operate, maintain and maintain two hydroelectric plants, all the electricity produced.
