SINGAPORE – On Sunday morning (December 6) on Sunday morning (December 6), a total of 21 bus passengers, considered to be foreign workers, were taken to hospital after a bus collided with a car in Jurong Island.
Police said they were all conscious after being taken to three hospitals.
The 42-year-old driver of the car was sent to the National University Hospital.
As a result of the accident, the bus overturned on its side, and the front half of the car was crushed almost beyond recognition.
Singapore’s Civil Defense Forces said 22 victims had been taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, National University Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.
The accident happened at 7 AM at the end of Jurong Island Highway on Jurong Island.
Police investigations are ongoing.
