SINGAPORE – Three suspects who were supposed to rob two women with a penknife in the Ang Mo Kio massage parlor were charged on Wednesday (September 25).
Each man is threatened with one theft of robbery.
Lim Ghee Huat (50) and Yeo Shuxing (37) were indicted in state courts, and Danon Tay Koh Lee (45) was indicted in a hospital.
It is said that the three Singaporeans who robbed a woman, Li Caifeng, from two cell phones worth $ 1,355 and cut her with a penknife around 14:00 on Monday at Cozy Massage, massage salon at Block 532 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.
It is said that Li suffered a hand injury as a result of the incident. The second victim was not mentioned in the court files.
Police said they received a report around 3pm that two women had been cut with a penknife in the massage parlor. The report added that women were robbed of five cell phones that belonged to them and their colleague.
All three men will return to court on October 2. If he is convicted of voluntarily harming a robbery, each man faces 5 to 20 years in prison and a mandatory minimum of 12 punches.
