The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, decided to create a group of experts to assess the results of the reform of the judiciary led by Petro Poroshenko.
This was stated by deputy head of the presidential administration, Ruslan Ryaboshapka.
According to him, the group should develop legislative and practical initiatives to solve problems related to the functioning of the judicial system.
"We are concerned about the situation that has recently developed due to the proclamation of various court instances (in special "reformed" court decisions, which according to lawyers are not based on the requirements of the constitution of Ukraine and law "- said Ryaboshapka.
According to him, unconstitutional decisions of the courts destroy confidence in the court system, which is not high anyway.
"We believe that the presence of many such court decisions is a clear proof of the failure of the judicial reform, which was under the control of the former President of Ukraine administration," – noted the deputy head of the AP.
Earlier, it was reported that President Vladimir Zelensky could meet with the heads of the judiciary and other institutions for the reform of the judiciary.
