Oritse Williams takes a selfie in court after hearing about rape

Oritse Williams posed for selfies outside of court after he pleaded not guilty for rape.

Former JLS star filed today for innocence at the Crown Court in Wolverhampton after accusing her of raping a woman in December 2016.

After hearing the 31-year-old he was photographed by many people outside the court.

Oritse – dressed in brown turtleneck and striped jacket – was smiling in the picture when the man took a selfie with a star, two women and a child who held Oritse.

It is not clear if the singer knew the people he was making selfie with.

Oritse and his co-accused Jamien Nagadhan will stand trial in May after they plead guilty.

Police West Midlands confirmed in September "Police accused two men of sex crimes in connection with the rape charge at Wolverhampton in December 2016.

Oritse Williams, 31, from Croydon, London, was charged with rape. Jamien Nagadhan, 31, from Hounslow, London, was charged with assault due to penetration.

"Both men will appear in court in Walsall and Aldridge on October 11."

Police were called to the four-star Ramada Park Hall in Wolverhampton in December 2016. In the morning, after performing at the Gorgeous club in the West Midlands.

Two women were reportedly invited by men to the hotel, and one of them – a 20-year-old waitress – claims she was raped by Williams.

Oritse denied claims via management statements soon after. After the first arrest, Oritse was released on bail until February 2017, waiting for inquiries and twice more on bail in April and November.

After filing the claims, Williams' management issued a statement in which he rejected the charge.

Statement 10 Worlds Music UK says: "Oritse denies allegations against him. The case is in the hands of the police and it would be totally wrong for us to comment on it further."
