DRINK WILL RECEIVE 500 BOOZE VALUES WITH ONE SCOTTISH EGG
The drinker claimed to have managed to buy alcohol worth nearly £ 500 alongside just ONE Scottish egg under the new coronavirus rules.
The bill for an upscale restaurant in central London seems to show that at a table of nine guests, 63 liters of platform were obtained – £ 6.5 a glass.
The refinery, which is subject to tier 2 restrictions, also apparently handed them twelve glasses of Prosecco for £ 6.95.
The bill then shows that one Scotch chorizo egg was ordered for the whole table – it costs £ 7.25.
However, a spokesman for The Refinery New Street said: “The bill was noticeably cut and a significant amount of food was used.
“The order also included three platters of cold cuts, a few plates of yakitori, three falafels, a beetroot and feta salad, and several portions of french fries.
“All Tier 2 restrictions in line with government policy were strictly adhered to. The safety of our team and our guests is our number one priority – our team wears masks, respects social distance, service is at the table, contactless payments and we follow the most stringent hygiene procedures “”
