AMD Ryzen 3 3300 Zen 2 6-core 12-thread processor makes the Cameo benchmark look good

AMD Zen 2 mania is of all time and it looks like we are looking at what the company can offer at a low level of the Ryzen 3000 processor family. New Geekbench numbers appeared before the official release of AMD and depict a six-core 12-thread processor codenamed Matisse ( which of course is Zen 2).

Before we get to the actual performance numbers, this processor has a basic clock with a frequency of 3.2 GHz and a 4 GHz recharge frequency. If we look back at the previous leak of AMD's Ryzen 3000 range, it seems that it fits exactly to Ryzena 3 3300, which we wrote about at the beginning of March, and the chip should be priced at around $ 100.

Turning to the actual results, the alleged Ryzen 3,3300 achieves the result of a single core 5061 and the multi-core result 25481. For comparison, in our own tests we obtained single- and multicore results 4815 and 25371 respectively for the current flagship processor Ryzen 7 2700X octa-core.

Think about it for a moment; the basic Ryzen 3 3300 is slightly faster than the fastest commercially available Ryzen 2000 desktop processor. Now, of course, this is just one comparative test and probably will not indicate the Ryzen 3 3000 performance in all situations, but the image is very attractive for AMD 7nm processors. It will also allow Intel to get money and further incentive to continue efforts to speed up the production of its 10 millionth products

It is expected that AMD will officially announce its family of Ryzen 3000 processors in the coming week on Computex 2019 or before E3. If previous reports are accurate, you can choose from 6-core / 12-thread, 8-core / 16-thread, 12-core / 24-thread and 16-core / 32-thread SKU.

These new Ryzen 3000 processors will be introduced with the new AMD X570 chipset, which provides native PCIe 4.0 support. We have seen how many X570 motherboards leaked in the last month and we expect that in the coming weeks we will see official messages from ordinary suspects.
