CODY, Wyo. (AP) – Kanye West was denied permission to build an amphitheater at his ranch in Wyoming.
Park County Planning and Zoning Committee made a decision on Tuesday after the rapper changed his construction plans near Cody.
West told county officials that he now wants to include living space.
Cody Enterprise reports county officials also object that the West has already done considerable work here. They told Westerners to stop work immediately.
Kane Morris of Point Architects in Cody apologized saying West had stepped in as soon as he changed his mind and quit his job.
West bought a ranch this year and plans to move the headquarters of its Adidas Yeezy footwear and clothing company to Cody.
