LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A bill that would require gastronomy workers to vaccinate against hepatitis A.
This happens after reports of positive results of Hep A tests among employees of a restaurant in eastern Arkansas.
Any positive case of Hep A in the restaurant employee we have reported to you is associated with minimal risk to society.
Health officials always suggest getting vaccinated just in case.
"I think one of the nursing homes is a vaccine that makes a difference, vaccines save lives, reduce the number of cases, and so generally from the doctor's point of view, I will tell you about vaccinations, vaccinations, vaccinations," says Dr. Shane Speights of NYIT.
This bill is sponsored by the representative of Jack Ladyman of Jonesboro.
He was assigned to the Public Health House, the Social Welfare and Labor Committee.
