Paris – Paris Saint-Germain they were waiting impatiently on Wednesday for the scan results due to injuries Neymar and Kylian Mbappe a few days before their key UEFA Champions League conflict with Liverpool.
Neymar limped after just eight minutes of Brazil's 1-0 win against Cameroon on Wednesday.
After five minutes, the Brazilian striker underwent a treatment of the visible groin problem and soon afterwards fell to the turf to win the crowd in the central English city of Milton Keynes.
In Paris, Mbappe injured his arm in an unpleasant fall as the World Cup winner France finished the year at a high level with a 1-0 win over Uruguay at the Stade de France.
But the victory was overshadowed when Mbappe was wounded after an awkward fall when he challenged Uruguayan goalkeeper Martin Campan.
France coach Didier Deschamps said that the news of Mbappe, a 19-year-old striker who scored the world top at the World Cup, "did not calm down, but he did not worry.
"After the fall he had pains in his arms and must pass tests tomorrow morning, but there is no serious concern," said Deschamps.
Neymar was injured, saying in a statement on Instagram that "it's nothing serious".
Team doctor Brazil Rodrigo Lasmar also said that this does not seem to be a serious problem.
"He felt discomfort," said Lasmar. "He will need a bit more time to evaluate and scan, but it's basically not a serious injury."
The PSG coach Thomas Tuchel will hope that both of his star players will be able to play when the French champions will host Liverpool in Paris on Wednesday. Both teams will pursue the qualification for the knockout phase in the Champions League.
PSG ranks third in Group C, one point behind Liverpool, which is equal to points from first place in Napoli.
Deputy Neymar of the Brazilian, Richton Richardson, faced half the break to ensure Selecao's victory.
France won thanks to the 52rd penalty minute Olivier Giroud.
PSG will face Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Saturday when Liverpool play at Watford.
